Hi! I'm Nichola Jayne and this is my author, writing, reading, book review and everything in between blog! Stay around for a while.

As a kid I was gifted tonnes of small plastic animal figurines [here] from my parents, I built up a fairly impressive collection over time and played with them after school, creating homes for them, personalities, back stories, lives. Over time as I aged I morphed into writing these down so I could keep a track of it, which eventually morphed into using a computer to keep track. This was around 2003 and I had my own laptop for school, which is when my writing really kicked off.

Fast forward to now and I have 18-odd almost finished novels ranging from 20k-193k words ranging various genres, but I'm fairly consistent in romance and dystopian themes. Over time writing has been one of the few constants in my life, always being there for me to vent frustrations, mould new worlds taking triggers from my own, and I consider myself an author at heart.

Currently unpublished I am taking steps to correct this, and I aim that by 2016 I will publish, be it self or traditionally. I'm eager to pursue this goal, and have been churning on ahead to achieve this.
